Accessories are the pieces that get lost, chewed, stretched and left at school — so ours are made to be replaced less often. Hats hold their shape after a wash. Socks have cushioned soles, seamless toes and a rib that actually stays up. Hair clips grip fine hair without pulling. Mittens come joined on a cord. Belts use a chunky buckle a four-year-old can open alone. Nothing here is decorative only.

Safety guides most of the design work in this category. Cords are short enough not to be a hazard, sunglasses use flexible frames and shatter-resistant lenses, and small parts are secured to standards for children under three where relevant. Fabrics are cotton-rich blends chosen for breathability in summer and warmth in winter without itch. Most items are machine washable in a mesh bag at 30°C; sunglasses and umbrellas simply wipe clean.
